November 4, 2019: On Wednesday, October 30, 2019, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, citizens braved the cold weather to protest outside the Oconomowoc U.S. Cellular store in opposition to U.S. Cellular’s planned 5G (Fifth Generation) wireless technology expansion throughout Wisconsin.

Science Proves Health Effects

5G wireless technology requires the deployment of millions of “small” cell antennas, spaced 2-10 homes apart, on utility and light poles, buildings and bus stops, which will result in INVOLUNTARY exposure to wireless radiation 24/7. There are 1,000s of INDEPENDENT, peer-reviewed and published studies proving health effects caused by wireless radiation from wireless technology including 4G/5G “small” cells, cell towers, cell phones, WiFi, utility “smart” meters, tablets, wireless baby monitors, etc.

Oconomowoc Citizens Fighting Back

Oconomowoc citizens have been opposing cellular infrastructure near homes and schools for some time. In an article entitled: “5G coming here in early 2020: Oconomowoc and Waukesha first local communities to gain network access,” it states:

“As more cellphone towers have been built in Waukesha County communities in the past decade, residents have raised concerns about possible health effects from radiation that they say could cause cancer, as well as possible internet intrusion into individuals’ private lives.”

In a letter to U.S. Cellular about its proposed 5G expansion, the citizens warned:

“Your industry will likely suffer financial and ethical damage in the years to come when repercussions from security breaches, privacy lawsuits, human health issues, and environmental damage emerge. Insurance underwriters even refuse to cover your industry. Why would that be?”

Shark Tank Investor Promotes 5G

On October 29, 2019, the day before the Oconomowoc protest, the Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec was in Milwaukee promoting U.S. Cellular’s 5G expansion throughout Wisconsin.

It is interesting to note that Mr. Herjavec runs a cyber-security firm. Could that be the reason why he supports 5G? Good for business? He must know that 5G poses enormous cyber-security risks. A hacker’s dream come true! He even tweeted on October 30, 2019 that “hackers are getting bolder every day.”
