March 2019: Update

March 24, 2019: Winter in Wisconsin was a brutal one but that did not stop Wisconsin For Safe Technology from getting into the community to raise awareness about 5G and the harm it will bring to human health and the environment:

January 14, 2019:  Attended the Milwaukee County ICC/Mayors Meeting featuring guest, Governor Tony Evers.  This event was held in Greendale, Wisconsin at the Safety Center.  Governor Evers (via Mr. Scott Jones of his team) was given a binder entitled:  “5G Infrastructure and Implications – Telecom’s Power Grab vs. Scientific Facts,” which included 5G Facts, the truth about the FCC, scientific literature, solutions and numerous letters from Wisconsin citizens about the harm they have experienced from wireless technology and concerns about 5G.

Follow-up calls and emails to Governor Evers’ office including emails to Sam Munger, Policy Advisor to the Governor ensued.  We hope Governor Evers is open to discussing telecommunications policy with us.

February 1, 2019: Attended U.S. Congressman Bryan Steil’s listening session in Franklin, Wisconsin and gave him materials to educate him about the health impact of 5G and wireless technologies. Asked him to support Bill H.R. 530 to dismantle the FCC Order to streamline the roll out of 5G.

February 11, 2019:  Gave a presentation, including this PowerPoint, at the ICC/Mayors Meeting at the Greenfield Public Library entitled “5G Infrastructure and Implications.”  Some of the leaders in attendance included Milwaukee County mayors, Mayor Tom Barrett, County Executive Chris Abele and State Rep. Speaker Robin Vos. Appreciated this opportunity!

February 15, 2019: A group of concerned Wisconsin citizens, along with two Greendale municipal leaders, met with State Representative Ken Skowronski at a local coffee shop to discuss the health impact of 5G and wireless technologies and Wisconsin’s 2013 laws, which removed practically all municipal control over telecom infrastructure.

Demonstrated the high radio-frequency/microwave radiation readings in the coffee shop for Rep. Skowronski with an Acoustimeter.

Rep. Skowronski was given the 5G Fact Sheet and other educational materials. Photos of “small” cell towers currently located in Greenfield, Wisconsin were emailed to him. Thank you, Rep. Skowronski for taking the time to meet with us!

February 17, 2019: Made and shared this You Tube video to demonstrate the extremely high radio-frequency/microwave radiation meter readings from a “small” cell tower located right in front of homes in Greenfield, Wisconsin. This is an example of the INVOLUNTARY 24/7 radiation exposure that will come to all our neighborhoods to facilitate 5G.

March 7, 2019:   Spoke at length with Wisconsin State Representatives Sen. David Craig and Rep. Mike Kuglitsch at a Meet and Greet Event for Wisconsin Supreme Court Candidate Brian Hagedorn*.  Expressed concerns with both politicians about Wisconsin’s 2013 Mobile Siting Regulations and the health impact of 5G and wireless technologies. Emailed educational materials about 5G and more to each representative. Appreciated the time they took to listen.

March 12, 2019:  Called in and provided comments during an excellent radio segment entitled “5G and Health Effects” with Relevant Radio Host Drew Mariani (AM 1640) and guest Dr. Martin Pall, Professor Emeritus/Biochemistry with Washington State University, issuing warnings not only about 5G, but the impact of current levels of electromagnetic radiation exposures on wildlife and humans.  Listen to and share the podcast.

It is important to educate your elected representatives at the local, state and federal levels about the harm caused by wireless radiation and the implications of 5G. Most, simply do not know the facts. See our TAKE ACTION page for helpful resources.  Thank you!

*Wisconsin For Safe Technology does not endorse any political candidates.
